MRM for US President Election

Considering the hype that US Presidency election has and also considering the amount money involved in the entire thing it will be worth use case to do that

how much the candidates would have saved if they have used a EMM system. Let me try to capture what should have been done by them.

  1. Create a two year plan for Marketing.
  2. Define the campaigns.
  3. Define the target segments.
  4. Use Campaign Tool to provide the list of voters to target.
  5. Use Direct Marketing channel email as the the first wave to target the audience.
  6. Use project management tool of MRM for creating marketing collateral’s.
  7. Use budgeting aspect of MRM to track the budget.
  8. Use the Marketing Performance Management tool to analyze the result of each campaign.

The above is just an example of mapping some of the things to EMM but just imagine how much effectiveness and efficiency  would this bring any of the candidate.

If Barack Obama/John McCain read I hope they will adapt when they stand again after four years.

For MRM/EMM vendors you have more people to look for your ondemand model apart from the regular customer.
